The Municipality of Penn Hills Police Department Division of Emergency Services provides 24 hour Advanced Life Support EMS services to the residents and visitors to our community.  Beginning in 1973 the emergency services division was one of the first full time paid services in Allegheny County.  14 full time and 11 part time paramedics staff 2 in service ALS ambulances responsible for in excess of 5000 calls for help each year.

Penn Hills Department of Emergency Services receives medical command from WPAHS Forbes Regional Hospital under the Medical Direction of Paul Beck MD.  Information on our medical command system can be obtained through this link.
